Suffolk completed this 675,000 square-foot, high-end lifestyle center in just 17 months.
The seven-building, open-air lifestyle center is Boston’s first inside of Route 128. Legacy Place sits on 45 acres and consists of 492,000 square feet of retail space, a number of restaurants, a 15-screen Showcase Cinema, and 85,000 square feet of office space. Suffolk also constructed a four-story, precast on steel parking structure to accommodate 1,400 cars.
The Whole Foods Market and L.L. Bean stores within the complex have been designed for LEED® certification.
As part of the complex, Suffolk’s team completed extensive site improvements, including relocation and reconstruction of a public way adjacent to the shopping center entrance.
