Constructed on a multi-building campus in Sorrento Valley, Qualcomm’s corporate headquarters is a ten-story structural steel office building which features a seven-story atrium, helipad, full service cafe, fitness center, and state-of-the-art 540-seat auditorium.
The Irwin M. Jacobs Auditorium is used primarily for engineering lectures, digital cinema and musical performances, and includes an advanced audio-visual system with the capability to transform within the space to accommodate a wide range of acoustics. The facility also includes a courtyard common area with outdoor stage and is connected by pedestrian bridges to an adjacent parking structure.
Previous projects completed by Suffolk on the headquarters campus include a total of three parking structures and an office building.
