What is your personal passion and how does that apply to your role at Suffolk?
Being active outdoors is my single biggest personal passion. When I was 14 years old, I bicycled with my twin brother 1,000 miles across Europe to visit friends in France. I have traveled 75 countries by bicycle, including 15,000 miles from Alaska to Patagonia and an expedition to climb Denali. Since I moved to the U.S. from Germany, I continue to bike 26 miles to work every day — I’ve done this for 15 years, and counting. And all the while, people told me none of it could be done. In my role at Suffolk, I have that same passion for taking on insurmountable challenges and making believers out of nonbelievers.
