The New York City Economic Development Corporation and RAL Companies have selected Suffolk to perform preconstruction services on their Zero Irving project located in New York City’s vibrant Union Square.
The 15-story, 352,000-square-foot building is constructed of structural steel with a glass and stainless steel exterior. Column-free floorplates maximize efficiency and adaptability and provide sweeping views of the surrounding university town center area.
The building lobby and common areas feature high-end finishes including sleek wood and custom stone cladding. The adjacent five-level parking structure provides space for more than 1,200 vehicles and opens to a plaza connecting the new tower to two existing Irvine Company office properties.
Building amenities include a café, fitness center, and electric vehicle charging stations. The highly sustainable building is targeting LEED Gold certification.
