Suffolk provided preconstruction and construction services for this seven-story, 324-key hotel and 106,000-square-foot waterpark.

Built amid 1,600 acres of wilderness in the Catskill Mountains, the resort features a conference center, amenity spaces, timeshare units, a 20,000-square-foot banquet center, and a lower-level Family Entertainment center.

Inspired by the architecture of indoor waterparks in Europe, the Kartrite’s unobstructed, column-free construction features a barrel-shaped transparent Texlon roof that will bathe visitors in natural sunlight throughout the year. This build also allows tropical plants to thrive inside the waterpark, immersing guests in a vegetation-rich environment like no other indoor waterpark in the nation. The park also features a signature mezzanine, uniquely designed with luxury cabanas, restaurants, a spa, a rope course, and an arcade.
