Suffolk is partnering with 3i on utilities upgrade to Terminal C at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
HW and CW pipe in tunnels serving Terminal C will be replaced and both tunnels will be fully abated. Suffolk-3i will shut down South Tunnels to abate, remove pipe, reinsulate existing and replace pipe and then repeat the operation on the north tunnels.
The Air Tran Access Road will be demolished to expose slab leaving it in place as an access road to the site which will keep construction vehicles off the lower road. New pumps and HW, CHW run on rooftop.
The current design shows a permanent access point being installed in the North Garage to support the North Pump Room. Suffolk-3i will use this access point to bring pipe into the North Tunnel in 20 feet lengths. Temporary SIDA ACS Doors will be installed to allow access into the tunnel.
