I’ve enjoyed almost every project because of the teams I’ve worked with and the friendships they create. Each has its own challenges and rewards. That’s the beauty of construction. With all that said, though, the design-build project for the Mitsubishi Power Systems U.S. headquarters project in Pooler, Georgia was a tremendous learning experience.

What is the most exciting thing about working in this business? What is your professional passion?
It's something new every day, and that’s exciting. From researching and finding a new client or project to getting a certificate of occupancy on time, I get to see all facets of the process almost daily. Plus, it’s construction! Many people outside of our business look at construction as the “dirty in-between” where their idea magically goes from paper to reality. We live in that space and it’s a messy, noisy and intense process of creativity, passion and hard work.
