The David H. Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at MIT is a facility that is shifting the paradigm of cancer research. This facility was built to blend the disciplines of biology with engineering and houses research space for engineering faculties whose research is focused on cancer. With the exception of administrative areas, the building consists entirely of wet labs (with two vivaria) and research support areas.
