ENR New England is excited to announce this year’s group of Regional Best Projects winners. This year’s judges selected 18 projects from across the region in the main categories.

While the 2022 winners of the main categories can be found in the list below, the Best Projects safety and sustainability award winners, which are juried by a separate group of safety and sustainability experts, will be announced soon in the ENR New England free e-newsletter. Finalists for this year’s ENR New England Project of the Year will also be announced in the newsletter soon.

Judges’ selection for this year’s overall Project of the Year from the Best Project-level winners listed below will be announced in the November issue of ENR New England and at the ENR New England Best Projects awards event on Nov. 29. This year’s winning projects in the main categories—listed at the bottom of this post—will also be profiled in depth in the November print issue of ENR New England. Projects were all located in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and Rhode Island. 

Projects were evaluated on the ability of the project team to overcome challenges, contribution to the industry and community, safety and construction and design quality. Due to the large number of entries, we can only cite a fraction of projects submitted each year, so project that did not win this year can be submitted next year!

Judges could select any combination of Best Project-level and and Award of Merit category winners. In some categories, judges decided not to give an award in a category.
