Favorite Project
My favorite project of all time was the USC (University of Southern California) Heritage Hall renovation project, which included the Heisman trophy museum space renovation plus new build-out of additional training facilities. I had the opportunity to see the full lifecycle of the job starting in precon as an intern my senior year at USC (Fight On!), all the way through closeout as a full-time project engineer after graduation. This building is also historic status in Los Angeles, which made for an interesting first project experience.

What is the most exciting thing about working in this business? What is your professional passion?
The most exciting thing about working in the construction industry is that we get to solve complex problems every day, which results in a physical, lasting change to the world around us. During the problem-solving process, it is thrilling to have the opportunity to incorporate an innovative, technological approach to the business’ traditional foundations to evolve how we build. I am particularly passionate about technical training on industry software and processes for project team members: I believe empowering our people with the latest tools is essential to the future of construction.
